He turns to see Wolf sitting on Pichu's grave, lamenting how their characters are only here to suffer. There is another quick cut to Link visiting the grave of the Ice Climbers. They run into Masahiro Sakurai who casts them off in a reference to The Lion King. Shortly afterwards the camera cuts to the Ice Climbers scaling a mountain attempting to reach Smash 4.
He sees the option to play the Subspace Emissary and is immediately disgusted to the point of vomiting. While Link tries to understand the complex high-level play of Smash Melee, Fox teleports behind him and after a quick Fist of the North Star reference sends him off-stage.Īfter being sent off-stage, Link finds himself on the main menu screen of Smash Bros Brawl. Link is confused by Fox's wavedashing techniques and is unable to land a single hit on him.
Link recovers from the harsh impact while Fox crash-lands on the stage in his Arwing. It grabs Link and sends him to Melee's Final Destination. After coming to life, or "waking up" Link spots Mario, Samus, Yoshi, and Kirby poke their heads out of a toy box, only to be blown away by a beefy Melee Artbox that crashes through the bedroom wall. Master Hand makes a ruckus and proceeds to grab a Link plush from the kid's toy box. The animation starts with a boy playing a video-game in his room, who is terrified when Master Hand enters through the window.
